My name is Beatrice and I am the owner of the houses called "La via delle trincee", because they are located in the places of the old Italian fortification line of the Great War, in Clabuzzaro, near Cividale. The house is dedicated to my grandfather, "boy of 99", and consists of two splendid studio apartments that take the name of the places where the two trenches are located: Cmerika and Ta na Robu. In both houses there is neither TV nor wifi, just deafening silence. Ta na Robu is a large attic with exposed beams, it sleeps four, one double and one bunk bed. The furnishings include: fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower and wood-burning fireplace. It enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the valley, so as to clearly see the Adriatic Sea. It has a terrace furnished with table and chairs for a romantic dinner between the green of the mountains and the blue of the sea in the distance. Cmerika is an environment that has kept the characteristic vaulted arches in local stone, it consists of three beds, one double and one single. The furnishings include: fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with window and shower, pellet stove. It enjoys a panoramic view of the valley and immense tranquility. It has a terrace furnished with table and chairs to enjoy the rest of the fresh air and a good read. Clabuzzaro is located in the verdant Natisone Valleys 30 km from Cividale del Friuli, a few km from Castelmonte, Caporetto, Bovec, Tolmino, Austria. In less than 20 minutes on foot or by mountain bike you can reach the Solarie pass and the Kolovrat, scene of the Great War. The small village of Clabuzzaro (Brieg, mountain), boasts a beautiful panoramic view of the Judrio Valley and is sheltered by the slopes of Kolovrat and Matajur, is surrounded by large woods of beech, chestnut and hornbeam trees and by wild nature, rich in ferns and cyclamen blooms. I also manage the village Osteria which is available for any breakfasts, lunches and dinners by reservation. The Osteria has a rustic setting, with a large panoramic terrace overlooking the Judrio valley.
